Puretec Z1 QuickTwist Under Bench Filtration System

The Z1 QuickTwist is a compact under bench filtration system built around the same quick twist cartridge as the rest of the Z range. It is sold either on its own, to feed a faucet you already have or choose separately, or as a package with a matching three way mixer tap.

Mains or rainwater? This is the choice that matters. The Z1 mains version is set up for treated town supply, where chlorine and taste are the problem. The Z1 rainwater version carries the heavier filtration a roof water supply needs, which is why it costs roughly twice as much. Buying the mains version for a tank fed house is the common mistake.

With or without a tap? The no faucet versions suit an existing drinking tap or a tap chosen separately. The T series packages include a matching three way mixer, which gives you hot, cold and filtered from one spout instead of a second tap on the bench.

Still not a bacteria treatment. On untreated roof or bore water, filtration alone does not make water safe to drink. Look at the under bench UV range if that is your supply.
