Puretec PureMix Z Series High Flow Under Bench Filter System

The PureMix Z Series is Puretec's high flow under bench range. The cartridge is a sealed quick twist unit: you turn the old one out and the new one in, with no housing to open, no spanner and no water everywhere. That one design decision is why people who have owned one buy another.

Which one? Z2 is the 10 inch unit at 38,000 litres capacity and the sensible default on town supply. Z7 is the 15 inch at 60,000 litres, so a longer run between changes on a busy household. Z6 filters to 0.1 micron, which is the one to choose where you want cyst level filtration. X7 is built for harsh water, meaning heavy sediment or aggressive supplies that chew ordinary cartridges. Z8 adds lead and scale reduction.

Builders pack versions are the same filtration supplied without the retail packaging, intended for install into a new build or fitout.

On tank or bore water, none of these treat bacteria. If your supply is untreated roof or bore water, look at the under bench UV range instead, or treat the whole house.
