Puretec PC-SURGE 240V Surge Protector

The Puretec PC-SURGE is a 240V surge protector that sits between the wall socket and your gear. It is sized for the sort of electronics that run a water system: UV controllers, variable speed pump controllers, pressure controllers and dosing equipment.

Worth fitting on any UV system. The lamp is a consumable and you expect to replace it, but the ballast and controller are not, and they are what a spike takes out. Rural supplies and long overhead runs see more spikes than town supply does, and a nearby strike does not have to hit you to do damage. At this price it costs less than one call out.
