Short description

Genuine Puretec IL series inline cartridges. These are the sealed cartridges used in under bench systems, fridge and ice maker filters, and inline drinking water setups. The whole cartridge is replaced rather than a filter element inside a housing, so there is nothing to clean and no o-rings to perish.

Choosing between them

Carbon is the standard choice for chlorine, taste and odour. Triple action adds sediment and scale control to the carbon and is what most under bench systems ship with. KDF and GAC targets heavy metals as well. Silver GAC adds bacteriostatic protection so bacteria do not grow inside the cartridge between changes. Alkalising lifts pH and is the one to use after reverse osmosis.

The Q suffix is the connector, not the filter. A Q cartridge has a quick change T fitting, so the annual swap is a twist with no plumbing undone. Non Q cartridges use a 1/4 inch BSP connection. Match what you already have.

Basic or Premium? The IN series is the Basic equivalent at roughly a third of the price, with less capacity and a shorter life. Both fit the same systems.
