This pump supplies clean water at steady pressure for homes, lifestyle properties, and light agricultural use. Their most common use is when suction lift is required. This pump can lift up to 7m above the water source. Ideal for:

Shallow Bore Holes
Spear Points
Stream or river
Installs where tank is significantly below pump location

These pumps can be plumbed as a tank fill from water source or supply the house directly.

Controller and operation options

When paired with a Torrium controller, the pump is fully automatic and protected from dry running, overload, and common faults
The bare pump includes a power cord and can be operated manually using an on off switch

All jet pumps are significantly noisier than a multistage or variable speed type pump. If noise is a concern, consider a different pump when location is near or under house.

Davey XJ Series Pressure Systems

The Davey XJ Series Pressure System is a robust and compact everyday water pressure system designed for reliable household and light agricultural water supply. It is well suited to homes, lifestyle properties, irrigation systems, turf watering, and general water transfer applications where steady pressure and dependable performance are required.

Each system consists of a jet assisted XJ centrifugal pump paired with a Torrium2 controller. This combination delivers strong, consistent water pressure without pump cycling, providing a comfortable shower experience and smooth water flow at taps and outlets. The Torrium2 controller is supplied pre wired to the pump motor, making installation simple and suitable for non trade users.

The XJ Series is designed to be compact and quiet, allowing for easy installation in tight spaces and unobtrusive operation near living areas. All components in contact with water are manufactured from corrosion resistant materials, making the system suitable for a wide range of water qualities while maintaining reliable water quality.

The pump features a single stage centrifugal design with a closed vane impeller and jet assist, delivering high pressure performance in a compact form. Corrosion resistant engineering plastics are used throughout the pump casing and internals to ensure long service life and low maintenance. A high quality mechanical shaft seal supports reliable starting and long term operation.

For installation flexibility, plumbing connections can be made to either the vertical or right angle discharge outlet, both of which can rotate through a full 360 degrees. An optional pressure tank can be added to increase draw off capacity if required. The Torrium2 controller includes a factory fitted power lead with a standard three pin plug for easy electrical connection.

The XJ Series is designed to operate across a wide range of conditions and is tested for use with safe drinking water. It is manufactured under ISO 9001 quality standards and ISO 14001 environmental standards, ensuring consistent build quality and reliability.
