Why We Like It

People reach for household descaler or a scourer. One is not rated for anything that touches drinking water and the other scratches the quartz, and a scratched sleeve scatters light instead of passing it. This is made for the job.

It will not save a sleeve that is chipped at either end, or one that stays cloudy after cleaning. Those get replaced, not scrubbed. And never handle the quartz with bare fingers going back in, the oil bakes on and does the same thing scale does.
