Puretec Z Series Quick Twist Replacement Cartridge

Genuine quick twist replacement cartridges for the Puretec Z Series. No housing to open and no spanner: the old cartridge twists out and the new one twists in, with the water off and about thirty seconds of work.

Match the cartridge to your system. The code is usually printed on the cartridge you are removing, and it follows the system: a Z6 takes the Z6-R, a Z7 takes the Z7-R. If the label has worn off, photograph the unit under the sink and send it to us.

What each does. Z2-R is the standard 1 micron. Z6-R filters to 0.1 micron for cyst level filtration. Z8-R adds lead and scale reduction. X7-R is the platinum cartridge for severe water. Z1-S5R is the sediment stage in a Z1 system.

Change it annually, or sooner if the flow has dropped noticeably or the taste has come back. Capacity ratings assume reasonable feed water; on tank or bore supply they run shorter.

The retrofit kits are for converting an older housing based setup across to quick twist.
