Davey DD Series Constant Pressure System

Davey DD Series Constant Pressure Systems are compact, all in one variable speed pressure pumps designed to supply clean water at steady pressure for homes, lifestyle properties, and light agricultural use. They are ideal where quiet operation, smooth pressure, and energy efficiency are important.

The DD Series uses variable speed drive technology to automatically adjust pump speed to match water demand. This means consistent pressure at taps and showers with no surging, reduced noise, and lower power consumption compared to traditional fixed speed pumps. The soft start operation also makes the system well suited to off grid and solar installations.

These pumps are commonly used for household water supply from tanks, rainwater systems, pressure boosting mains water, and boosting low pressure water situations. They perform reliably across a wide range of applications, including domestic use, irrigation, turf watering, and general water transfer.

The pump itself is a horizontal multistage centrifugal design with all hydraulic components manufactured from stainless steel. This provides excellent corrosion resistance, long service life, and the ability to handle higher water temperatures. Stainless steel impellers with high efficiency profiles reduce friction and power use while keeping noise levels low.

Installation is straightforward due to the compact design and integrated controller. Air purging valves and internal stage porting make priming easier and reduce the risk of air related issues. The pump casing is fully stainless steel and securely mounted to the motor bracket with multiple fixing points and an o ring seal for durability and long term sealing.

The Davey built motor is a totally enclosed fan cooled design, sealed and greased for life, with oversized bearings for extended service life. It is designed to run quietly and efficiently, even under frequent starting conditions.

The integrated controller provides full automatic operation and system protection. It monitors pump operation and protects against dry running, overload, and common system faults. Pressure settings can be adjusted, and the system is capable of operating in parallel configurations where higher flow rates are required. A small pressure tank is built into the system, removing the need for an external pressure tank in most installations.

The DD Series is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards and ISO 14001 environmental standards and is certified for use with potable water. Designed and built in Australia, it is fully supported in New Zealand with local parts availability, service support, and warranty backup.
